This weekends boxing
Big news on SKY tonight that Amir Khans next 3 fights will be live on SS1 and not PPV starting on Dec 10 against Brewster, massive night with Klitchko fight on as well.
Not too shabby this weekend with Saturday night on SKY Vassell v Columban commonwealth title match. Followed by Reg's favourite on C5 Big Tyson Fury v Nevan Pajkic with someones unbeaten record to go. Followed up by Pacman v Marquez for the third time, wish I was in AC to watch this one. |
Good shout with the boxing. I don't have Sky but will try and find an internet stream to watch the Pacman - Marquez bout.
Not really been following boxing much in the last few years but saw the last Tyson Fury fight. He looks good but sort of raw and beatable. No idea who he's fighting but will make the effort for that one as well. Should be interesting. |
Just been reading that Khan article  Carl froch also in December on sky :boxers:
I'll probably wash my hair when the Tyson fury fight is on this Saturday |
Martin Murray V Felix sturm also on sky December 2nd
|
*Big News*
Chris Eubank Junior making his pro debut on the Tyson Fury undercard live on C5. You better not be washing your hair when he is on Reg. |
Goose bump moment tonight, Simply the best, vaulting the rope, just like his ole man.
Good performance for his pro debut. |
What a cracking fight, bet Reg was on the edge of his seat when Tyson got knocked down
|
Was a good fight. Agree with that alright. Don't think much of Tyson Fury though. Raw !
|
will khan ever fight pacman or mayweather then i know he's training in the same camp as pacman and spar together but could/ will they ever fight each other
|
I doubt khan would fight pacquiao mainly because they share same trainer in Freddie roach but anythings possible , I think the mayweather fight is more likely & fear he'd make a mug of khan also think Floyd would beat pacqiao by staying out of range and moving anti-clockwise like Marquez did on Saturday night simple but effective if your a good counter puncher
|
It said the 2 most talked about boxers this week are Tyson Fury and Chris Eubank Jnr, do not underestimate the power of terrestial TV against being buried away on PPV on some stupid channel.
Mick Hennesey has done well to get this TV deal and his boxers will make more money than being buried away on Boxnation. |
cotto v margarito 2 tonight.......should be good as the first was a cracker....margarito walked through everythin cotto had, to stop him in 11 last time.....revenge for cotto tonight??.....cotto was givin him a boxing lesson for the first 6 rounds or so last time but just couldnt knock him off his stride and margarito just kept comin forward...relentless.....im off to blackpool so hopin i find somewhere to watch it...if its half as good as the first it will be good....any thoughts on it anyone??
|
I think margarito will win again illegal hand wraps or not unless cotto can pace himself and take it on points
|
|
margarito not allowed to continue coz of a badly swollen eye before the 10th,watched it in the stags head.
|
Murray got a severe beating :boxers:
|

Just arrived in Pattaya less than 12 hrs ago and watched IMO a classic fight with Khan Vs some American Darkie....Absolute quality for 12 rounds....I was even cheering on Khan in a "British Empire" spirit much against my normal view...
Art Of Boxing - Well worth a view. PS Watched at the Irish Wolfhound on Prahtamnak Soi 4 (Soi Asia) on Buddah Hill (50B Heineken). |
Chisora is fighting vitali klitschko in February before David haye takes on vitali in June !!!
