Downloading movies from Pirate Bay
Had my first try this week.
It's fantastic. Don't know why I've never done it before. Easy peasy. No more DVD's for me. Currently downloading complete collection of Errol Flynn films. Anyone on here do not know how it's done? Sure we can make a walk through guide. |
the only issue with torrents is they are easier to track and the ISP are under pressure to block them and "filesharers" in the uk.
Are you sharing or just downloading? |
"Anyone on here do not know how it's done?
Sure we can make a walk through guide." I wouldn`t have a clue, never tried,I`m IT dummy No.1 I don`t often watch movies but did get someone to download quite a few for me, a Tibet film, some old Sci Fi series, Star Wars, Star Trek, that sort of thing. |
I've tried and can't even find a link to the site.
Found lots of bogus links to malware.:gbxtank: |

Same here. Once I worked it out, it was easy. Gotta be simple if I can manage it :grandpa: Cleaning out my son's bedroom, I found a media player and remote. It is el cheapo but it works. Plugged in my portable hard drive and connected it all to the big telly in the lounge room. Run the sound through my stereo. All set now. Watched all the Game of Thrones series plus many movies. Also transferred movies to my Samsung phone. Works a treat on the big Note 2 screen. And talking of Errol Flynn, his many time leading lady Olivia De Havilland is still alive & kicking. She turned 98 last month. :toot: |
Isn't that the bloke who caused all that trouble on Facebook?

Anyone using an Andriod phone or tablet can download the ttorrentlite app, then rip the files direct to the sd memory card. I dont have a tv at home, watch the shows on my tablet when travelling or use a sansung dongle (40 quid) to sync the tablet to my screen and watch like that, works perfectly! Using the tablet avoids static ip, which is how your isp monitors you :bigfinger I have an sd card in my phone with 1000s of tunes ripped off in same way. If anyone wants more info on high quality torrent service, which is subscription based unless you upload and download, I have access but I stopped cos the andriod tablet is best way to do it, possibly the greatest way to download ever...:king: |
So after reading this I had another go at PB on the weekend. Clicked a link to Walking Dead. Next thing my anti-virus goes apeshit, all sorts of default programs are taking over my computer, warning bells going off everywhere.
Spent hours deleting anything with Saturday's date on it. Still can't get my Google search engine back, my Flash keeps crashing,, and I get a trojan alert every time I power up. Tried to go back to a reset point, but it won't show any beyond that day.:muthafucka: |

I'll post a link later to the site I used to use for PC torrent downloads, no spam at all, you will have to pay if you want big chunks of data and dont upload but its all clean. They have all the series packed as box sets to rip the whole lot in 1 go, top quality and no bullshit but its a bit techy which aint me 555 |

I havent used this for 18 months because my andriod tablet is even better but, for downloading to pc, this site is the nuts! No ads, spam or other problems. Very much a techy users site with a mega library!
They have master copy quality expendables 3 on their banner ad. http://www.torrentday.com |
The main prob with some of these downloads is that you dont actually know what your downloading until you see it.
Theres a lot of shit with popular names that are bogus. To be safe (ish) then it costs a few quid but i find its worth it. Easynews.com. Can preview movies etc, they should auto unrar, if they dont and no preview leave alone. http://hqsource.com/ http://www.warez-bb.org/ http://www.shaanig.com/ Get a file share download site like http://zevera.com/Member/HosterStatus.aspx Rapidgator, uploaded.to all supported. Must admit mine are hacked accounts so i have large gig banks that i can dip into without worry. Wont go into that here...spies R Us... |

The file share sites like PB got hit not for the copyright but the fact they had an advert on the server which meant earning money from it. Yes it was a fraction of a penny but it counted against them in court. this is there story, i forget how to encode the links. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTOKXCEwo_8 i do like the bit where sweden tells America they they arent owned by them and to fuck off :) |

In Singapore Porn is pretty much illegal and lots of sites are blocked :bigfinger The police hear are intetested in people uploading porn, not the downloaders...:ninja: Singapore handed over an 18 year old to the US for copyright violation, he's probably now making jail porn now... |

I will never understand those that buy pirated DVD's when just about everything is available on torrent. All you need is a torrent client and a few sites from which to d/l from.
I use uTorrent and the following sites; Code:
http://www.demonoid.ph/files/ Code:
http://free-classic-movies.com/index.php#.VFN1t2e2VuN A Prize of Arms (1962) The Night We Dropped a Clanger (1961) Meet Mr Lucifer (1953) A Hill in Korea (1956) Stardust (1974) |

Stardust (1974) is available on Kickass. I am downloading it now. Comes with all the songs in the soundtrack as well. Movies from my youth :toot: |
A Hill in Korea is also known as "Hell in Korea"
Hell in Korea You might find that title in your search though I bet you have already tried that  |

^ Pls. send me a link to a Stardust torrent that has seeders. I can't find one.
PS. Have you ever seen a torrent of this one, Yesterday's Hero (1979). A football movie with Ian McShane. Saw it once way back when. |
SK,
I hit the download torrent link on Kickass and it downloaded, soundtrack and all despite that it had a zero in the seeders column. It is ok quality. Naturally, I downloaded "That'll Be The Day" as well :terrific: Didn't realise that David Essex was still kicking. Looks a tad different now to how I remember him David Essex :toot: |
^ Thanks. It's coming down now.
I think he's aged very well & still retains that distinctive accent and manner of speaking he always had. |
