Football Rambles

In other words, QPR are fucked. No chance Ramsey will be manager next year. Terrible display last night. Little chance of staying up unless there is a massive turnaround. :crying: |
Bazza they are not a Premier League quality club and they are headed back to where they belong.... oblivion!
|
Sir Alf Ramsey couldn't save them.
|
Captain Jack, I have just been told by a good authority that you have given up on QPR for this season.
Please tell me this is not true. Keep the faith brother. Miracles can happen. Look at the 2005 Ashes series. It ain't over yet. :supporter1: |

I know it's not football but after 6 rounds in the NRL the standings are interesting:

Mate, that is the real football to some of us This thread covers all codes especially if any of my teams win :clap::clap: |

Storm and Bunnies in the top three. Might be interesting this year.:mental: |

So back to QPR v Chelsea, coins and bottles are thrown and one player is hit by a cigarette lighter.
The bottles are plastic, no mention is made of any coins striking anybody and the fag lighter caused no injury. I dont condone any of this but its making a mountain out of a molehill. Basically some fans lost their rag, did a few silly things that resulted in fuck all much. Press blowing things out of all proportion yet again. |
So I have just looked through the fixtures for the upcoming season's Skybet Championships
QPR playing in the lower league this season for a bit of r&r before turning to the EPL in 16/17. Should be interesting as we play, amongst others, the following teams Brighton - ROLAND/WW's mob Middlesbrough - KeeNeow's mob Cardiff - Gonzo's mob Brentford - Mighty One's mob Leeds - Big Bad Si's mob Reading - that Dave bloke's (who shagged the Babysitter) mob Probably a few more that I have forgotten According to Captain Jack, we (read QPR) are going to be handing out some right royal thrashings so be warned dancing dancing dancing |
Forest - Winnies boys
Liverpool - Reg's Lads soon |

I think it will be another year of mid table mediocrity for Leeds again. However we've made some decent signings actually buying instead of delving into the loan market of serie B

Broncos & Cowboys nicely placed at 1 & 2 with Bazzas Sharks sneaking up to 6 !
. |
And the Kangaroos are up to 8th on the ladder in the AFL
Both the Sharks & Kangaroos have won their last 3 games :yay: It won't last :paranoid: |
Any predictions for the various Leagues this year ?
I've got my money on and am reasonably confident of getting my stake back at least, as I have done most seasons in recent years. I do an each way Lucky 15 and avoid the Premiership as they only pay out on the top two and it's impossible to get an each way bet but here are my choices Championship _ Middlesbrough League 1 - Wigan League 2 - Oxford and probably putting the mockers on their chances Conference / National League - Tranmere Apart from my natural confidence in Tranmere at this time every year and the fact that they have been relegated in each of the last two seasons I really do believe that this year they should bounce straight back. Best price I found at the moment was 5/1 and if they don't go up I will refund the stakes ( in beers in Pattaya ) for any member here who can prove that they backed them after the date of this post. Pile your money on, men. |
Already done a double on Chelsea and Middlesboro
My bet at the moment subject to change is 16 doubles Arsenal/Chelsea Middlesboro/? Sheff U/? Luton/Oxford Just working out the missing pieces |

Rarely bet these days. I have a William Hill and a Betfairaccount with about $1000 total in them. I will blow all that on the upcoming spring racing carnival in Melbourne. dancing |

That didn't last long. QPR are on their way now :yay: |
Despite QPR losing on Saturday, my lads were back with a bang on Sunday. North Melbourne in the AFL and Cronulla Sutherland in the NRL both won sudden death finals.
Really proud of the guys. North Melbourne Kangaroos are always thereabouts with no big name stars while the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks finished with the wooden spoon last season and this year will at least finish top 6. The reality is that they both probably won't get much further but you never, never know!!! :yay: |

How is your Euro qualification going , Hu ? dancing |
Quote:
You lot are lucky that we cant play in that Euro thingy. The last time we played in a regional championship we won the Asian Cup. Betcha that covers a lot more people than your little Euro runaround. Asian Cup dancing |
And the last time I looked Australia has as much connection with Europe as it does with Asia.
You just move continents till you find one you can beat dancing |
