Alec Baldwin, Di Caprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson were all fucking quality in this film. My favourite film above all else. The Departed.

Samuel L.Jackson and John Travolta. Pulp Fiction.

Not put here for a great acting performance but listen to what The Soprano's use to end this episode...some of "Evidently Chicken Town" by John Cooper Clarke that was written about 1980. Clip is 1:42 sec.

Jimmy Cagney and Henry Fonda in...."Mr. Roberts"...

mack 11-12-2007 01:52 PM

I loved that movie nose. If some of you younger guys have never seen "Mister Roberts" (it was made in 1955) give it a look. Here's the last 10 minutes of the movie so don't watch it if you plan on seeing the whole thing. What Ensign Pulver (Jack Lemmon) does and says at the end to the Captain of the ship (James Cagney) is classic.

mack 11-21-2007 03:20 PM

That's a coincidence nose because I just used the online reservation for books the first time a couple of weeks ago. Worked like a charm...notified by email the books were in and they were all delivered to the branch closest to me so pick up was easy. I'll check on their web site and maybe they have The Sopranos on DVD"s. :2guns: ___

'I can tell by looking in their eyes... those people... I don't have them in my area....' :hiding:

mack 01-16-2008 07:35 PM

I didn't know what the hell Cruise was talking about but found this:

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Suppressive Person, often abbreviated SP, is a term used in Scientology to describe the "antisocial personalities" who, according to Scientology's founder L. Ron Hubbard, make up about 2.5% of the population. Another 18% are PTS (Potential Trouble Source), as a result of the SPs. A statement on a Church of Scientology website describes this group as including notorious historic figures such as Adolf Hitler and Genghis Khan as well as others who "are less obviously seen."[1]
The term is often applied to those whom the Church of Scientology perceives as its enemies, i.e. those whose "disastrous" and "suppressive" acts are said to impede the progress of individual Scientologists or the Scientology movement.
