I am new to this forum, and also a newbie to Pattaya. I went there once in November 2009 and am planning on going back this year in March ... Need some good info this time ! I am also trying to learn some basic Thai :)

Hello!! I'm making my first trip the 1st week of March! Lots to learn, and I'll probably learn many lessons the only way that sticks, the hard way. I'v been on several other boards and have picked up lots of info and feel confident it will be an experience and a half. Hope to meet other board members and maybe git in on a crawl or two. I have been to Thailand 3 times and in Pattaya 2 times. First time was in 2001 for one week. I have been learning thai for one year and began to learn lao. I did learn vietnamese and chinese mandarin for 3 years before.

"Thai for beginners", "thai for intermediate" with CD
"Three way thai-english dictionary" best pocket dictionary from my point of view (a Iphone version with audio will come soon)
