Anyone got Office 2003 / XP Pro ?

My PC went to Somchai to fit a new fan and the little twat screwed around with the hardisk and now a critical file is missing.

The location is C:\MSOCache\All Users\90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9\

and the file name is PRO11.MSI

I'd be grateful if someone could email me the file (think it is about 3.9mb) or better still, attach it here.

Downloaded it but didn't work. Will try again tomorrow. Seems like there may be more to the issue like some key from Windoze of MIcrocrap or something. Too tired to try more now.

Does anyone know anymore about this ? Have the file but will not work and wants to change the registry etc. Worrying stuff.

i would say your best bet it to get hold of another version and reinstall.
or try a repair but you will still need a disc to do it.

If the reinstall or the repair doesn't work, he can try this quick fix.

If you want Andy.......... I have a full copy of Office 2000 Premium. It is an "Enterprise License" edition, meaning no license code is required and can be loaded on unlimited computers. Fully functional and has all the components ie Excel. Word, Power Point etc etc. Can burn a disc for you if you want to install a fresh copy on your puter that Somchai Dumbass "fixed" for you.

Cheers mate. I'm coming down in a week or so and I'll hok up for a beer and maybe I'll take you up on your offer. Might just go to Tukcom and get the 2003 one though or 2007. Need something as it is driving me nuts. Just cannot reinstall SP2 nevermind SP3 !

If I could explain to that clown Somchai what he has done I'd get him to sort it out but at the moment it is still working and it might not be if he "fixed" it again !
