View Full Version : Loading thai software onto UK pc?

i bought some programes for tam to use on my pc at home,i have a tthai/uk keyboard that works fine but i bougfht her some english learning programes anmd a thai version of the sims and my pc dosnt recogn ise em?,is there some sort of software i should download?

The only difference in the underlying system will be if you don't have the thai language pack installed. Could give that a go.

When you say your machine doesn't recognise the disk what message are you getting?

cannot play file,format not supported error 8055 and aload of other numbers

I'd need the full number string to see what error message it is. What file is it trying to play?

80040265 is the error code,its a learning english cd with thai-english translator

It's a media player problem

Googling the code brings up info that it is a Windows Media Player issue. I'd suggest downloading VLC media player which supports loads more extensions and trying to open the cd using that, rather than the default Windows player.

Also, are you on the latest Windows player ? Version 11 I think ?
