Got IE7 yesterday and today the board is slower thana slow bugger.

Any connection ?

Doesn't work too well with the latest Firefox updates either.

Anything to do with POrt Forwarding (sorted it now) and downloading stuff. I am limiting downloads to leave 50kb/s for normal internet but it is still crap.

Any ideas /

IE7 better than IE6 but still not as good as Firefox. IE7 is so untidy what a fuckin mess.

I could do it ok in IE6 at about 60kb/s leaving the board about 40kb/s to play with. Now when I had to go back to dial up it was quicker and i was only on 56k !!! So if I leave loads more than 56k it should be easy street - no ? If not, why not ?

Multi-tasking is the name of the game no ? Maybe I'll just go back to IE6 then ?

The only thing I like about IE7 over IE6 is the 'new tabs' feature which makes it handy, by not having to keep opening seperate browser windows when you want to look at several sites.

Other than that, it's nowt special.

Mate been having problems with Messenger upgrade as well - leave the upgrades alone .. just big Bill planting crap on our machines so we go and get Vista. :bigfinger:bigfinger

Vista cost more than a new computer in YUK , looked in PC world yeaterday Vista Premium is £349=$700 , what a ripoff , I will get a copy from TCOM for 150 baht

macs new operating system is due out very soon and will retail at about £70. £350 for vista is ridiculous!
