not in years..the last time, the week after i used them, the same plane went down on the internal route i flew
took that as a sign.

theres normally a reason why something is cheap.

Has Russia been in the headlines in the last few days :hiding:

Mate flew with them a couple of years ago - cancelled onward flight meant a 14 hour layover in Moscow. Talking to another bloke off the flight who flew with them regularly, said it was a frequent occurrence. 1 in 3 he said - about the same odds as KLM losing your bags.

The rouble is at an all time low.
Google the 10 most dangerous airlines in the world, you'll find Aeroflot at the top.Air India not far behind.:chute:

I think the international routes differ in safety to the internal ones ie the use of western equipment

You got to be bonkers in the current climate, you could end up losing your money if the sanctions kick in.

Still if they are good enough to be Man Uniteds official airline then they should be good enough for Reg dancing

Still remember Skygoods report on Talk many years ago and would never go with them. As you say, they are cheap but not for me.

Flown domestically few times because I had no choice and it was frightening! Yak40 a 3 engined bucket of soviet bolts with less get up n go than a skoda...Moscow to Ulyanovsk is 500 miles & it once took 3 hours cos we were flying into 50 knot headwinds, felt like the plane was going to be pulled apart in the turbulence! Having worked in Soviet Aerospace for 20 years, I know that they do build their aircraft for harsh environments & the crews are raging alcoholics....

Internationally they use Western aircraft, same crews, shit transit stop, shit customer service & Americans may have nuked Moscow by Xmas....:gun2:

My advice would be stay well clear of them....be a bit different to Emirates business class Reg, how would you cope? :riverdance:

Sooner or later, Malaysian will be giving away tickets that would be better than Aeroflot if you're looking to save money!

I dont think Malaysian is a bad airline but, they've been proper unlucky and bad luck does come in 3'ssssss

Thing is I was planning a 3 weeker at Christmas and just about to hit the boss with my holiday request when all contractors get pulled into a meeting on Friday to be told McLaren are stopping production from December 5th till January 5th to re jig the line for 2 new models for 2015
Boss says good chance a few of you's will get laid off for a month :hyper: but back to full production January 5th , after meeting I said I'll make your job a bit easier and book a month in Thailand ?? He said go for it but I want u back January 5th  so I've been looking at cheaper flight due to the fact I'll be not getting paid for the month I'm on holiday but reading your comments I'll spend the extra couple hundred quid on a reputable airline
