new posts

if and when i click the new post tag at the top of the page i just get a message

sorry no matches please try some different terms

anyone else get this, and can i do anything to get a list of new posts as i used to cheers

I've heard somebody saying they had the same problem ..??? Have you tried logging out and back in Phil ?

have tried that a couple of times reg not a big problem but was handy to check posts without trolling through each section

is the new post bit still working? can still see posts on new post bit but it never updates its self.

I've had the same problem for a about 6 months now - It used to work fine then started to play up by showing old posts and not updating.

I now log out and get the message saying cookies are cleared and sometimes the new post feature works when I log back in and othertimes it doesn't !

It's the same for all of us.


Spoke to Matt Gonzo about it when he was here at Christmas. He is aware of the problem.


He said it was an issue that he can try to fix. He just needed to get his head around it and remember how it was done and plus find the time to do it.


No doubt he will elaborate further on my post.

Yeah, there's a whole host of little things that need sorting but it's finding the time to do it. I'm going to clear a weekend soon to upgrade the board software as that hasn't been done in ages and we're way behind the current version. Hopefully that will clear a lot of the issues and we can get the new posts bit and the view count fixed as well as having more secure software.

I'll give everyone plenty of notice before I do it in case I break the whole thing!
