A Pattaya volunteer police was arrested while he and his girlfriend were on the beach selling drugs to tourists.
Pattaya, June 27, (PDN) Pol.Sen.Sgt. Maj. Songthum Naksawad, Pattaya Police together with the Pattaya volunteer police team arrested Mr Puvivat “Yong” Kridej aged 27 and his girlfriend Ms Panom Puntuwong aged 24 on Pattaya beach in Nongprue along with one bag of marihuana, one pouch of pipe tobacco and one bag of seasoning powder. The two suspect were detained to further questioning.
Pol.Sen.Sgt. Maj.Songthum stated that the police was informed by the undercover agents that Puvivat who is a Pattaya volunteer police was selling drugs to the tourists on the beaches in Pattaya.

He also acted as a mafioso treatening and demanding money from prostitutes on the beach. The police kept an eye on him for several days before his arrest. He and his girlfreind were arrested while they were on the beach waiting to sell drugs to their customers. Puvivat confessed that he had marihuana for personal use only, but he denied that he was a drug agent and claimed that he always helped police to arrest the prostitutes on the beach.
The suspected were taken for a urine test. The tests were positive. Puvivat was charged with taking marihuana and possession of marihuana. The suspects were detained for further legal prosecution.
